How is Justice Ministries impacting people?
When I first got out of rehab, I needed help with my light bill, and Justice Ministries helped me out so my light wouldn't get turned off. There's also been times that I would need help to get my special needs daughter to and from doctors’ appointments and therapy. I'm truly blessed to have Justice Ministries and Mark in our lives. I have remained clean and sober since 2018. I appreciate everything that the organization has done for me and my family.

JM has been a blessing and saved my life in educating me in my domestic violence situation and human trafficking. I am a survivor. I would not be here today. And I'm disabled and they help [provide] medicine for my mental and physical health. Me and my family are very thankful for everything. I love JM.

Justice ministry has helped me in soo many ways. They have referred me to programs that have saved my life. They have helped me with housing me and my 3 children and continued to help me stay sober and out of the life.“

“When I arrived at the safe house, the first day, I was extremely scared and nervous, but the staff was very welcoming and caring. They were very nice and sweet to me, accepting me with open arms. I was taught how I could feel safe again how I could be me again.
While there, I went to therapy and learned how to deal with my own feelings and work through my traumas. I was able to get proper medicine to make me feel better. I never had a worry about food or a place to sleep. I was given clothes. I was also had permission from the team members to where I can get a job.
I was able to save up money to where I was able when I was released from the safe house. I was able to get my own place buy car…
I’m sober now, going on seven-ish years. The life lessons that I was taught at the safe house I still carry with myself to today. It helped me become a better person and a better mother. I always felt safe. I never had to worry about somebody harming me. I am truly blessed for the safe house and the staff members. That experience literally saved my life.
I learned how to get back to my old self: the drug-free self. I truly recommend the safe house for anybody that is going through difficulties of life of drug and addiction. I speak very highly about this safe house.
I would like to also work with a safe house. I’m trying to find connections that will help me be able to be to go through schooling to be able to work in a safe house, or to become a drug counselor. Myself and my family are truly grateful for this experience that I went through for the safe house.”
